Changing your mindset

Walking into a new hobby is easy to do. Pursuing the hobby is beyond difficult. Tons of "producers" walk into the field of music underestimating the amount of time and perseverance it takes to achieve your goal. What makes you different from one of these kinds of people? The goal here is not to discourage you, but to reveal the kinds of obstacles that we face when beginning music production so that you may overcome them! Making music for fun: When I started producing tunes on my laptop, it was 2016 and I gave it a try simply because I wanted to have fun. Having this mindset, I was able to continue enjoying the process of making terrible music until I improved. After a year and a half of composing, people encouraged me to promote my music on other channels! I always accepted these remarks as compliments but ended up ignoring them. Music for me was something I did for fun, not money. I ended up trying to sell my music to promotion channels just so I could gain some exposure...
Welcome! These seminars are designed for teens who are interested in music production and need help learning! The classes range from 60 minutes to 90. Everything is free of charge as this is a community service project. During this class, kids will learn what electronic music production is all about, how to teach themselves when they are stumped, and how to operate the user interface of a certain software. Music production is more than just a hobby: it can teach you valuable life skills as it has done for me. Some of these skills include perseverance and productivity. This hobby is certainly helpful for those spending too much time playing video games as it provides them with a healthy alternative. I will be posting pictures under the appropriate library page on this blog! Thank you!
